St Ives September Festival 2013

The St Ives September Festival has been a highlight of the towns calendar since the late 70’s.  The festival brings together a merging of arts, literature and musical and film culture.  People travel to St Ives from far and wide anyway but for the festival in particular.  Organised and run by local volunteers the St Ives September Festival keeps on getting bigger and better each year and 2013 will no doubt be just as ambitious.  Most of the events take place in locations such as The Guildhall, The Queens Hotel, The Sheaf of Wheat, the St Ives Theatre and a few others.

Without wanting to reinvent the wheel, I would ask all of you going to St Ives in September, or planning on going in September to check out either One St Ives or the Official St Ives September Festival website for details on what’s on and to buy tickets.  Lots of acts, performances and details of events are on the sites mentioned and tickets are on sale now.  St Ives is beautiful all year round but nonetheless when there is a hype of activity and culture like there is at the September Festival.
