St Ives 9th Annual Boats in the Bay

This weekend see’s the 9th annual ‘Boats in the Bay’ celebration of St Ives steeped maritime history and heritage.

At the St Ives Boats in the Bay there will be lots of activity in the harbour in the day, from 2pm many luggars and sailing boats will be in the bay including the SS634 Barnabas built in 1881.  The St Ives swimming gala will take place at 3pm from the Old Slipway which will be followed on by Scully Racing.

The fun doesn’t stop there; join the crews and Cadgwith Singers in the Castle Inn from 7pm.  So make sure you stop by the harbour on Saturday 6th September to bask in the rich maritime heritage that St Ives will not forget.
